The Director and Consultant
Cristina Gangemi MA, S.T.A.C, is a consultant in the field of Disability. She holds a Master’s degree in Disability, Theology and Care. Cristina has twenty-five years’ experience which includes working in Special Education, training large groups of professionals and youth, facilitating shifts in practice at a national level and in parent support. Cristina has undertaken an innovative and creative research project with the University of Aberdeen and people who have been intellectually Disabled. Her, much acclaimed, research ‘EveryBody Has a Story’(2010) has produced approaches to SEN which involve and celebrate the whole person, body Mind and Spirit. Cristina is also a national adviser to the Bishops of England and Wales and works closely with providers from schools to the Vatican Councils. Her work is recognised and valued at both nationally and internationally.
